What does it involve? How much does it cost?
This training is to prepare the student rider for their practical motorcycle test. The cost of Rider Training on motorcycles upto 125cc is £65 per half day (minimum) or £120 per complete day of training. The maximum student/instructor ratio is 2:1, one to one instruction can be requested although a surcharge will be added at busy times.
Included in the price is use of a school bike and helmet and waterproofs. Gloves are required and can be bought on the day.
Students with their own bike are encouraged to use it and the cost of the training is reduced by £10 per half day. We generally find that students using their own machines require less time with an instructor.
Students must have completed and be in receipt of a current DL196 CBT certificate.
Practical test dates can be booked by us in advance and we often have dates available and structure the courses around those dates and trainee requirements.
Prior to the practical test you must have successfully completed the Motorcycle Theory Test. Further information about the theory test with online practice and booking can be found at http://www.dsa.gov.uk
